Title: Cardiac Implantables: Design for Meeting Cost, Performance & Regulatory Demands

Description:

This session will explore how to build cross functional teams to create low cost designs and processes, meet medical challenges and incorporate cutting edge technology to meet the new regulatory demands of the medical device industry. Catheter manufacturing is changing very quickly, there is a need for creative design paired with existing approved materials. We will also explore how changes in national and international regulation may affect manufacturing. We will briefly touch on the current supply chain crisis and what that means for development of cardiac implantable devices.
