Reyes, Marie

Marie Reyes is a science and advanced mathematics educator, medical scientist & engineer. She has degrees in Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, Teaching and Biomedical Engineering and is an alumnus of the University of New Mexico, University of Southern California, and Colorado State University. She has helped launch a number of successful startup companies and has designed products and processes as an R&D Engineer. One company (ENVIE Cosmetics) she helped launch partnered with a shark tank shark in 2021. That company’s branding, product formulations and packaging design were lead, designed and produced by Marie herself. She is currently an innovator in the medical device industry in Minnesota with Mayo Clinic and Boston Scientific.
 
Marie has contributed to cutting edge research in Neuroscience and Molecular Genetics as a Biomedical Scientist at UNM School of Medicine and the School of Molecular Medicine at University of California, La Jolla. In 2014, She created her own line of health products where she leads a team of scientific researchers & engineers in product development, formulation, and manufacturing at La Bohemia Natural. Perseverance, positive outlook and poise are the attributes that describe her best. One of her hobbies is Flamenco dance, and she has apprenticed with professionals around the world. She speaks several languages and is learning more. In 2018, she received the award: Women in STEM for outstanding women in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
